Catalog. Fairfield, CA.
Every service we actually do. Explained like a human wrote it.
Here is what we do, how we price it (roughly. Real numbers come after we see the site), and what to expect on the day of the pour.
If you do not see what you need, call and ask. If we do not do it we will tell you who does.
Driveways
01
Driveways are 70% of our work. In Fairfield you have got three big enemies: expansive clay soil out toward Green Valley, root heave anywhere there is an old oak, and sun. A south-facing driveway bakes all summer.
Tear-out and replace
Full demo, haul-off, re-grade, rebar grid, 4,000 PSI mix, broom finish. Most 2-car residential driveways take 2 to 3 days and come in between $8 and $12 per square foot depending on thickness, access, and whether we are adding a widen-out. A standard 20x40 drive runs $6,500 to $9,500 all-in.
Resurface instead
If your slab is still structurally okay (no major cracks, no settling) a polymer overlay is usually $4 to $6 a square foot and lasts 10+ years. We will grind, prep, and apply. Done in a day. We will push this option when it is the right call, even though it is less revenue for us.
Widenings and extensions
Adding a turnaround or widening for a second car. We can match the existing finish so it does not look patched. Color will not match perfectly (10-year-old concrete is not the same color as fresh) but the texture will.
Foundations and footings
02
If you are building an ADU, workshop, garage, or room addition, bring the engineer's stamp. We will pour exactly what it calls for. Not more, not less. We coordinate directly with the Solano County inspector so you do not play phone tag.
Slab on grade: standard 4 inch slab with #4 rebar at 18 inch o.c. for most residential. Thicker and closer grid for vehicle loads.
Stem walls and footings: for homes on sloped lots or over expansive soil. We will dig to the depth the soil report calls for. Usually 18 to 24 inches below grade.
ADU pads: we have poured a bunch around Fairfield since the state loosened ADU rules. Typical 400 to 800 sqft pad runs $3,500 to $7,500 depending on thickness and drainage.
Patios and walkways
03
Back-yard patios, side walks, entry paths, pool decks. The thing that kills most patios is drainage, not the concrete. We slope a quarter inch per foot away from the house. Not negotiable. If you want zero slope for furniture, we will tell you why that is a bad idea and talk you out of it.
Broom finish is the standard. Salt finish for texture. Exposed aggregate if you want the pebble look. All under $7 to $10 a square foot for a straight pour, more for finishes.
Pool decks: we work around the pool shell, not on it. Cool-deck additive available for summer walks.
Stamped and stained
04
Flagstone, cobble, slate, wood-plank. Integral color (mixed into the concrete) or acid stain (applied after cure). Stamped runs about double the price of broom finish, so make sure it is what you want. On orders over 400 sqft we will pour a 2x2 sample on your property first. Real color, real stamp, dried in your yard's light.
Not for steep slopes. Not for pool decks that get wet feet (slippery). Great for front entryways, back patios, and accent borders.
Block, brick, stone
05
CMU retaining walls (any wall over 4 ft needs an engineer. We will tell you if you need one). Brick accent walls, planters, mailbox posts, outdoor kitchens, fire pits. Stone veneer for house fronts or fireplaces.
Chimney rebuilds: usually for houses built before 1980. We re-tuck the mortar or rebuild the stack depending on what the inspector finds. Scaffolding and tarp included.
Honest heads-up: brickwork is slower than concrete. A short planter wall might take two days. A 20-foot retaining wall can be a week. We will tell you up front.
Repairs and odd jobs
06
Trip hazards from raised sidewalk panels. We grind them flat. Spalled garage floors. We resurface. Cracks wider than a credit card. We rout and seal. Mailbox posts someone backed into. We rebuild. Small jobs most contractors will not bother with. We will do them if you are on a block where we are already working.
Minimum charge for a trip-out is $250. If we are pouring on your street anyway, we will fold it in.
